 Post subject: buying property with a criminal record?

Hi I am from the UK, 12 years ago I was charged with manufacturing and supplying radio transmitters to unlicensed radio stations in the UK, I therefore have a criminal record here, can anyone tell me if this low level of criminal activity will stop me from buying a property in Turkey ?
any help would be much appreciated.
