hello all. i hope you can help me out here. i am planning to go to ephesus from kusadasi. but i am on a tight budget. i heard that i can take a dolmus from kusadasi to ephesus. where in ephesus will the dolmus stop? will it be at the gates of the site? also, how much does it cost? from ephesus, how do i get back? how do i go to the dolmus station in ephesus? thanks!

If there are only two of you then get the Dolmus (about 5TL to ephesus) this will drop you near the bottom gate bou on the main road. Ther is a taxi rank here and you can either get a taxi (pay no more that 15TL) to the top gate and then walk back down throuh ephesus and past the amphitheatre to the bottom. As you come out of the car/coach park bear right and follow this road up a sligt incline and down abou 400yds back to the main road where you gat the taxi. Turn left at this main road and the return dolmus stop is 100yds on the other side of the road. Find out when market day is at selcuk which is the next major town past ephesus and combine the two places on the same day. Well worth a visit on market day . Go on one of the boat trips from the marina, if you go to KIngs place restaurant which is about 100yds past the designer shops and frestaurants at the harbour
