The minibuses are great for getting around kusadasi or even to go to towns further away. We took an hour trip to Ayden with a minibus and payd €3,50 per person.
A fare around town can be had for 750000 turkish lira which translates to about €40,-. Just hail a bus and ask where the bus goes, "Centrum" or the name of your hotel/bar is enough. Pay during or at the end of your ride. Aks the driver to stop when you want to get off ("STOP" will do). If you ask for a destination drivers will tell you when to get off.
This is the cheapest way of public transport and gives you a true turkish experience.
The bus terminal ("Garaj") is just outside the centre and has buses that go everywhere. Do check out the last bus back if you want to go to another town or city.

The Dolmus is cheap, easy, stops in front of your hotel, you have it every 10 minutes. You have to give your Turkish Lira to the people sitting in front of you, they will pass it to the driver, who will return your change via the other passengers.
