Could anyone help please with tel nos / e mail address for insurance companies in Turkey (English speaking) in particular the Bodrum area. Am I right in saying can only get contents insurance without the Tapu. I am renting the apartment out so will need at least contents cover.

Insurance is a bit of a complex area and the policy which is right for you will depend on your individual circumstances. For example, I've been able to find some insurers who will cover "holiday homes" abroad but are only available to UK residents.

I am a uk resident and am renting out my property in Bodrum, nrevous that I do not have any insurance cover!

I take it your furniture etc. is what you are concerned about (your property is a holiday let for UK nationals)?

yes the property is a holiday let for anyone not just uk nationals .i am worried about contents , damage to the building and public liability
