A friend and I are staying for a week in a timeshare at Pine Bay Holiday Resort. On this wonderful site I have seen how you can travel out by taxi to Ephesus .

I had thought of a trip to Samos as we are coming in April but was unsure if you could get a tour of the island

It would be great to have some more ideas and the likely costs involved as we are on a reasonably tight budget

There's an 8:30am ferry to Samos and a 4:30pm return ferry to Kusadasi. Once you're on Samos you can ask near the port at a travel agency about island excursions.

In Selcuk, you can visit the Ephesus Museum and you can see the ruins of its medieval church.

You should see if your hotel offers a tour to Pamukkale. It is about 3 hours away, but is worth the trip.

There are many tour companies arrange daily regular tours to Ephesus.Crossroads Travel is one of them but they never arrive on time
You dont really need an organized tour in Samos.Just hire a scooter and explore it on your own.Azim Tours is one of the companies arrange daily ferries to Samos.
